BRAMPTON, ON - The Elmira Jackals, ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Buffalo Sabres and the AHL's Rochester Americans, conclude their weekend series against the Brampton Beast with a Sunday matinee matchup. Elmira defeated Brampton 5-1 on Friday night and is 4-1-0 against the Beast this season.

MAGNIFYING THE MATCHUP
Today the Jackals continue their quest for a Kelly Cup playoff berth with a Sunday afternoon affair against the Brampton Beast. On Friday, Nick Tuzzolino recorded his first career hat trick and Shane Owen made 22 saves to win his Jackals debut as they rolled past Brampton 5-1. Chris Langkow and Colin Jacobs also scored in the Jackals' victory. Today's contest marks the sixth of 11 overall meetings between Brampton this season and the third of five at the Powerade Centre. The Jackals also are continuing a stretch in which they face-off against the Brampton Beast seven times in the final 15 games of their regular season. The Jackals are 4-1-0 against the Beast this season, winning both meetings in Brampton and taking two of three in Elmira. Colin Jacobs leads the Jackals with four assists and six points against the Beast while Cason Hohmann and Nick Tuzzolino lead the way with three goals. The Jackals are 4-1-0 all-time at the Powerade Centre and have won nine of the first 11 meetings in the series history.
