Allen Americans Face the Colorado Eagles

Loveland, CO - The Allen Americans began their last long road trip of the month on Saturday night as they head to Colorado to face off against the Eagles for the seventh and final time of the regular season.
After two evenly played and scoreless periods, the Eagles struck first when Sean Ringrose redirected a shot past Riley Gill just 25 seconds into the third period. The Americans responded at 5:06 when Casey Pierro-Zabotel tied things up on the power play with his 13th goal of the season, assisted by Chad Costello and Eric Roy.
Colorado regained the lead when Kyle Kraemer hit the back of the net at the 12:49 mark, assisted by Sean Ringrose and Kyle Ostrow. The Eagles then cemented the win with an empty net goal from Johnny Lazo with 47 ticks left on the clock.
The Americans head north to Rapid City to take on the Rush Sunday afternoon at the Rushmore Civic Center; the puck drop is scheduled for 5:05PM CST.
