Frontenacs Select Juho Lammikko and Jarkko Parikka in the 2015 CHL Import Draft

Kingston--The Kingston Frontenacs selected two players in the 2014 CHL Import Draft, Finnish forward Juho Lammikko and Finnish defenceman Jarkko Parikka.

In the first round, with the 43rd overall pick, the Kingston Frontenacs selected Finnish forward Juho Lammikko. A power forward, Lammikko played in the u20 SM-Liga last season, with 42 points in 37 games with Assat. He was drafted in the third round of the 2014 NHL Entry Draft, 65th overall, by the Florida Panthers.

In the second round, with the 103rd overall pick, the Kingston Frontenacs selected Finnish defenceman Jarkko Parikka. A 1997-born defenceman, Parikka played in the USHL last season, with 8 points in 51 games with the Des Moines Buccaneers. He is eligible for the 2015 NHL Entry draft.
