
20th Anniversary Celebrations Start with Canada Day Parade

The SARNIA STING kicked off its 20th Anniversary celebrations by participating in Sarnia's 2014 Canada Day Parade. Thousands of spectators welcomed Sting Alumni, their families, and a number of current players as they walked along the parade route, accompanied by the ever-popular team mascot, Buzz.
Former players attending included Jordan Hill, Ryan Hare, Mike Haley, Jamie Fraser, Corey Brekelmans, Alan Letang and Patrick DesRochers. This was the first of many opportunities fans will have to welcome back former Sting players as they help us celebrate the team's 20th Anniversary during the coming Season.
Watch for news of Special Guests who will be attending a very special Home Opener on October 3 at the RBC Centre - Sarnia. Following that, during the Season, there will be a number of Banner Raisings which will highlight former STING players.
Finally, the SARNIA STING encourages all fans to participate in the 20th Anniversary FAN VOTEto help select the TOP 20 PLAYERS in STING History!
