Pouliot Signs with Oilers

The Sudbury Wolves and the Burgess Family would like to congratulate former Sudbury Wolves forward, BENOIT POULIOT, on signing a 5-year deal worth $20 million with the Edmonton Oilers.

Pouliot spent last season with the New York Rangers, doing what he does best: driving possession, chipping in timely goals, and generally being an effective forward.

As a member of the Sudbury Wolves, Pouliotwon the Emms Family Award as the OHL's top of the rookie for the 2004-05 season. He was drafted fourth overall by the Minnesota Wild in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft. Pouliot played 3 seasons with the Sudbury Wolves.
