Forward MicFlikier Reassigned to Blades

ESTERO, FL - Florida Everblades president and general manager Craig Brush along with head coach Malcolm Cameron announced that forward Jacob Micflikier has been reassigned to the club by the Rochester Americans of the American Hockey League.

Micflikier returns to the Everblades after spending the past month with the Amerks where he posted six points (1g, 5a) in 13 games. The 24-year-old began the season with the Everblades, playing in the team's first two games, notching two assists before his call up.

Micflikier split the 2007-08 season between the Stockton Thunder of the ECHL and the Springfield Falcons of the American Hockey League. He skated in 29 regular season games with the Thunder, registering 37 points (10g, 27a) and 29 penalty minutes, while also pitching in 13 points (4g, 9a) in six Kelly Cup Playoff games. He also saw action in eight games with the Falcons where he scored five points (1g, 4a).

The Everblades return to action on Saturday, November 22 when they travel to Augusta to take on the Lynx from James Brown Arena at 7:30 p.m.! The Everblades' next home game is Friday, December 12 when they host the South Carolina Stingrays at 7:30 p.m.
