Flames Recall Akim Aliu from Abbotsford

Calgary, AB - The Calgary Flames announced today that they have recalled right winger Akim Aliu from the Abbotsford Heat of the American Hockey League.

Aliu has played 39 games with the Abbotsford Heat this season recording four goals and six assists for 10 points along with 106 penalty minutes which is a new career high. This is his second recall of the season after joining the Flames on February 21st playing in a pair of games and registering 10 penalty minutes.
