American Hockey League Announces Suspensions

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. ... The American Hockey League today announced that Charlotte Checkers right wing Jared Staal has been suspended for one (1) game as a consequence of a boarding incident in a game vs. Texas on Apr. 11.

Staal will miss Charlotte's game tonight (Apr. 13) at Chicago.

The American Hockey League today announced that Albany Devils left wing Jean-Sebastien Berube has been suspended for two (2) games as a consequence of a match penalty he received in a game at Binghamton on Apr. 12.

Berube will miss Albany's games tonight (Apr. 13) vs. Binghamton and Sunday (Apr. 14) vs. Rochester.
