First Place Otters Seek 30th Win of the Season on Saturday

(EVANSVILLE, INDIANA) - The first place Evansville Otters (29-18) continue their six-game homestand with the middle game of the series against the Lake Erie Crushers (26-23) on Saturday night.

First pitch is set for 6:35 pm CDT at historic Bosse Field in Evansville, Indiana.

Fans wishing to purchase tickets for the game can call the Otters box office at 812-435-8686. Reserve seats are $9 and general admission tickets are $6.

Fans can listen live on WUEV 91.5 FM and WUEV.org . Play by play announcer Mike Radomski and color commentator Bill McKeon will have the call beginning at 6:15 pm CDT.

It is Central Labor Council night and all union workers can display their badge at the gate to gain free admission.

The Otters will have left-hander Zach Fowler (0-1, 9.00 ERA) throwing against Crushers righty Mickey Jannis (2-3, 4.46 ERA).

The Otters are 12-22 all-time against the Crushers. Evansville won two of three games at Lake Erie in early June.

Outfielder J.R. Higley is on a team season-long ten game hitting streak. Outfielder John Schultz enters today's action on a six-game hitting streak. Second baseman Josh Allen has hit safely in five straight games.

The Otters are 17-9 at home this season and are 3-1 on the current six-game homestand.
