ROUND ROCK, Texas - The Round Rock Express (75-48) silenced the Oklahoma City Dodgers (57-66) 2-0 to earn their 18th series victory of the season on Saturday night at Dell Diamond. SS Jack Mayfield and 3B Nick Tanielu provided the offense while the E-Train pitching staff held off the Dodgers through 9.0 strong innings.

Round Rock RHP Brandon Bielak (7-4, 4.95) earned the win after 6.0 lights out innings in which he punched out nine while surrendering only one walk and four hits. Dodgers RHP Daniel Corcino (8-6, 4.64) suffered the loss after allowing two runs on three this and three walks in 5.0 innings of work.

Mayfield kept his hot streak alive as he smoked his fourth home run in the last two days to open scoring just two outs into the game. The next inning, Tanielu went deep to extend Round Rock's lead to 2-0.

The E-Train bullpen stood strong in three innings of relief to preserve the shutout victory. After relieving Bielak in the seventh, RHP Dean Deetz fanned four-of-six batters faced to notch a hold. RHP Riley Ferrell then tossed a 1-2-3 ninth inning thanks in part to two impressive putouts by C Garrett Stubbs to earn a save and secure Round Rock's 2-0 victory.

The Express enter Sunday night's series finale with a series sweep in mind. Dodgers RHP Justin De Fratus (1-4, 6.94) is set to start opposite an Express pitcher to be announced. First pitch at Dell Diamond is scheduled for 6:05 p.m.
