
Explorers walk past Wingnuts

WICHITA, KS- For the second straight night the Sioux City Explorers knocked off the Wingnuts, 8-5, in a game that lasted nearly four hours.
Wichita fought back from a 4-1 deficit to take a 5-4 lead, thanks to a three-run fifth and a solo run in the sixth, before Sioux City scored three of their own in the seventh.
Jason Tuttle walked four times and scored twice for Sioux City, while Walter Young reached base five times and knocked in three runs. Kevin Hooper had three hits for Wichita, but pitching was the difference as four Wingnuts pitchers walked 15 batters.
