AirHogs Set Independent League Record

Grand Prairie AirHogs News Release

Grand Prairie, TX (07.10.08) - The Grand Prairie AirHogs set the independent league record for the most ceremonial pitches thrown off the back of motorcycles on Saturday, July 26 at their game against the El Paso Diablos.

Bikes both registered and unregistered for the event totaled around 400. Bikers paid $5 to enter and all of the proceeds went to Bikers Against Child Abuse.

The AirHogs also collected canned good items that were donated to the North Texas Food Bank from the bikers and fans who attended the game.
