Tonight, the SeaWolves will look to match their longest winning streak of the season as they take on the New Britain Rock Cats (Minnesota Twins) in the middle game of a three-game series at Jerry Uht Park. After last night's 7-1 win in the series opener, the 'Wolves have won five consecutive games. For the second time in the last four games, the Howlers got a complete game out of one of their starting pitchers as Thad Weber went the distance and nearly shut out the Cats. The 'Wolves first and only six-game win streak came April 23-29. A win tonight would also insure the 'Wolves of their fifth straight non-losing season series to the Rock Cats...Righty Anthony Shawler takes the mound for the 'Wolves making his 23rd appearance and eighth start. He eared a win in his last start against the Cats on August 5. He allowed four runs, two earned. on six hits with a walk and five strikeouts in a equaling a season-high with seven innings pitched. Shawler has not won back-to-back games this season. He is 2-1 in his last three starts and has gone seven innings in two of the three...Lefty Tyler Robertson takes the mound for the Rock Cats making his 22nd start. He took a loss to Erie in his last start allowing six runs, three earned, on eight hits with three walks and five strikeouts in four innings. Opponents are hitting .315 against Robertson.
