
Fisher Cats Announce 2010 Citizens Bank Kids Run The Show Winners

MANCHESTER - The New Hampshire Fisher Cats, Double-A affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays, are excited to announce the winners of the third Citizens Bank Kids Run the Show on Thursday,August 26. Thirteen lucky kids ages 8-15, will have the opportunity to "run the show" for the Fisher Cats/Portland Sea Dogs 7:05pm game, serving as general manager, radio broadcaster, public address announcer, sports writer and more.
"It is a joy for our staff to witness the excitement and pride the kids take in their different game-day responsibilities," said Fisher Cats President/General Manager Rick Brenner. "We are anticipating another fun night and would like to thank our valued partner Citizens Bank for helping us bring back this popular community event for a third time in two seasons."
The 13 winners were selected from over 400 kids who signed up online at www.nhfishercats.com or at State Farm Guest Services at Merchantsauto.com Stadium during the season.
"We are delighted to provide these kids the opportunity to go behind the scenes and be a part of the action with the Fisher Cats," said Cathleen A. Schmidt, president, Citizens Bank. "We wish all of the participants the best of luck with their game-day duties. I am confident the ballpark will be in good hands and it will be a real treat for all the fans attending."
As a part of being selected for the Citizens Bank Kids Run the Show, the 13 winners will receive free tickets for that night's game for their families. The night will also be followed by an Atlas Fireworks Show. For tickets, visit www.nhfishercats.com or call (603) 641-2005.
