Tonight, the SeaWolves look to bounce back after a tough loss on Monday night as they take on the Reading Fightin Phils (Philadelphia Phillies) in the middle game of a three-game series at First Energy Stadium. Last night, the SeaWolves had a one-run in the top of the eighth inning but surrendered one in the last of the eighth and gave up a walk-off home run in the ninth, dropping the series opener 8-7. It was the SeaWolves fourth straight loss to the Fightins and three of the four losses have been on walk-off home runs...Myles Jaye makes his 16th start of the season and second against Reading. Jaye beat the Fightins on May 23 allowing two runs on five hits with a walk and eight strikeouts in six innings. Jaye has worked at least six innings in eight straight starts and has fired four consecutive quality starts. Jaye took a no-decision in his last start against New Hampshire on June 22. In the game, he allowed a run on three hits with a walk and five strikeouts in seven innings of work. Erie won the game 2-1...RHP Tom Eshelman takes the mound for Reading making his second start. Eshelman took a no-decision in his last start against Akron on June 23. In the game, he allowed a run on seven hits with a walk and five strikeouts in five innings. Eshelman began the season in Class-A Clearwater where he made 11 starts prior to joining Reading. He posted a 4-2 record and 3.34 ERA with the Threshers...SeaWolves right-handed reliever Joe Jimenez has been named to the 2016 SiriusXM All-Star Futures Game as a part of the World Team. The game will be played on Sunday, July 10 at Petco Park in San Diego.
