ENTERING TONIGHT'S ACTION... Tonight, the SeaWolves open up a five game series in four days against the Harrisburg Senators (Washington Nationals) at Metro Bank Park. The SeaWolves had a four-straight series win streak snapped by Altoona with an 8-6 loss on Thursday afternoon. The SeaWolves squandered a three-run, eighth-inning lead and lost the final two games of the series. Erie looks to avoid dropping its third straight game tonight...The âWolves are nine-games over .500, in a second place tie with Reading in the EL South, eight games behind first place Akron. Erie is two games ahead of fourth place Bowie...The Senators are in fifth place in the EL South, 20 games out of first...After starting the season series against Harrisburg winning five of the first six games, the âWolves have dropped four of the last six. Erie is 2-3 at Metro Bank Park...Erie is in a stretch of 17 of 24 games away from Jerry Uht Park. The âWolves are also in a stretch of 20 out of 24 games against teams with sub-.500 records...The injury bug has bitten the SeaWolves once again. 1B Ryan Strieby is on the seven-day disabled list, Mike Hollimon will miss his third straight games with right shoulder soreness and Max Leon will miss his fourth straight game with knee soreness...The SeaWolves have struggled on the road this season. Erie is two games under .500 (15-17) away from "The Uht". Erie has won four of its last six road games...Lefty Jon Kibler makes his 14th start and third against the Senators. He is 0-1 with a no-decision against Harrisburg. He took a no-decision in his last start at New Hampshire. In the game, he allowed two runs on six hits in 6.2 innings with two walks and four strikeouts.
