Connecticut Defenders News Release
NEW BRITAIN, CT-Tonight's game vs. New Britain has been postponed due to inclement weather and lightning. The game will be rescheduled for a double header at a later date.
Connecticut and New Britain battle in a showdown of the Nutmeg State but more importantly #1 vs. #2 in the northern division. The Defenders will send LHP-Jesse English (4-4) to the bump in game one to face Rock Cats' starter, RHP-Yohan Pino (2-1). First pitch is slated for 6:35pm from New Britain Stadium.
