Defenders Host Aeros in E.L. Championship Series

NORWICH, CT- The Eastern League Championship Series kicks off tomorrow at 6:35pm from Dodd Stadium as the Northern Division Champion Connecticut Defenders host the Akron Aeros, AA affiliate of the Cleveland Indians and Southern Division Champions in the best of five series.
This will be the first Championship Series at Dodd Stadium and first as a Giants affiliate in seven years. The Defenders tied the single season franchise mark in wins set back in 2001 with an 83-59 record.
The following Championship pitching rotation has been submitted:
Game 1: RHP- RHP Josh Tomlin vs. LHP- Ben Snyder
Game 2: RHP- RHP Jeanmar Gomez vs. RHP- Daryl Maday
Game 3: LHP- LHP Eric Berger vs. LHP- Craig Clark
Game 4: RHP- LHP Scott Barnes vs. LHP-Ari Ronick
Game 5: RHP Josh Tomlin vs. TBA
