Thunder Game Suspended

Trenton Thunder News Release


(Trenton, NJ) - Friday night's game between the Trenton Thunder, the Double-A affiliate of the New York Yankees, and Reading Phillies (affiliate of the Philadephia Phillies) was suspended in the bottom of the second inning due to rain.

The game will be completed starting at 5:05 PM on Saturday with OF Noah Hall scheduled to bat for the Thunder in the bottom of the second inning. This game will be finished as a nine-inning game. The regularly scheduled game will be played following the completion of the suspended game and will be a seven inning game.

Fans with tickets to Friday's game may exchange them for tickets of equal or lesser value to another 2009 Thunder regular season home game, subject to availability. Ticket stubs may be presented in person at the Thunder Ticket Office at Waterfront Park starting at 9:30 AM on Saturday, June 27. This offer excludes the Eastern League All-Star Game on July 15 and Major League Rehab appearances.
