Tonight, the SeaWolves look to end their three-game losing skid as they take on the Altoona Curve (Pittsburgh Pirates) in the middle game of a three-game series at Blair County Ballpark. Last night, the ‘Wolves attempted a late game comeback but fell short, dropping the series opener to the Curve 8-6. Altoona has now won three straight games over Erie after the ‘Wolves took the first two of the season series. The SeaWolves are a season-worst two games under .500 and have dropped three straight for the second time this season...Lefty Casey Crosby takes the mound for the ‘Wolves making his fourth start of the season and second against the Curve. The southpaw worked a season-best five innings in his last start, allowing a run on four hits with three walks and five strikeouts. It was the least amount of runs Crosby has allowed this season. He left the game leading, but the bullpen could not hold on...LHP Jeff Locke takes the mound for the Curve making his fifth start of the season and second against the ‘Wolves. Locke took a loss to Erie in his first start of the year on April 8. That day he allowed a pair of unearned runs on four hits with a walk and four strikeouts. He earned his first win in his last start at Harrisburg. He allowed six runs on eight hits with a pair of walks and a season-high 10 strikeouts...Opponents are hitting .275 against Locke this season...The SeaWolves wrap up the series with the Curve on Sunday afternoon before heading to Binghamton for a four-game series next week.

- The season series between Erie and Altoona is tied 2-3. The SeaWolves and Curve meet 18 times in 2011. The next 10 games of the season series will be played in Altoona. The Curve makes one more trip to Erie in July.
