ESTERO, Fla. - November 8, 2013 - The Elmira Jackals look to end the southern leg of their five game road trip on a high note with a win over the Florida Everblades. Tonight's game is also the finale of Elmira's first three-in-three this season.
WHO: Elmira Jackals - Ottawa and New Jersey/NHL & Binghamton and Albany/AHL (2-5-0) at Florida Everblades - Tampa Bay and Carolina/NHL & Syracuse and Charlotte/AHL (8-0-1).

WHEN: 7:30 p.m.
The Jackals are facing the Everblades tonight for the second of three meetings this season and last of two at Germain Arena. Florida's 5-2 win over Elmira on Wednesday night was the its fourth straight regular season win agasint the Jackals dating back to December 8, 2011. The Jackals' only win in Florida since that date was an 8-2 triumph in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference quarterfinal series last April. Tonight's matchup features two of the top goal scorers in the ECHL. Florida's Matt Pistilli leads the circuit with eight markers in nine games while Elmira's Artem Demkov pulls in tied for third with six tallies in seven contests. Pistilli scored once in the game Wednesday while Demkov picked up a pair in the loss.
Entering this week the Jackals were tied with four other clubs for the lightest schedule in the ECHL with five games played. That will change in a hurry this week with the Jackals playing the first of back-to-back-to-back sets of three games in three days. The month of November is Elmira's busiest of the season with 14 games packed into 30 days. The slate will be slightly less arduous after the Jackals finish their current five game road trip. From November 15 to 30 the Jackals play six of eight games at First Arena, and the two road games are division tilts in Reading and Wheeling.
