ECHL Announces Fines, Suspensions

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL on Friday announced the following fines and suspensions.

Ontario's Van de Mosselaer fined, suspended

Ontario's Adrian Van de Mosselaer has been suspended for four games and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #79, San Francisco at Ontario, on Nov. 6.

Van de Mosselaer was assessed a match penalty for an illegal check to the head under Rule #48.5 at 0:27 of the third period. He is fined and suspended under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline.

Van de Mosselaer will miss Ontario's games at Utah (Nov. 8, Nov. 9 and Nov. 11) and at Idaho (Nov. 13).

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.

Elmira's Gagnon fined, suspended

Elmira's Mathieu Gagnon has been suspended pending a review and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #81, Elmira at Orlando, on Nov. 7.

Gagnon was assessed a major penalty and game misconduct for boarding under Rule #41.5 at 18:10 of the third period. He is fined and suspended under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline.

Gagnon will miss Elmira's game at Florida tonight (Nov. 8) and any further discipline will be announced next week.

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.

Fort Wayne's Schrock fined

Fort Wayne's Kaleigh Schrock has been fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #74, Fort Wayne at Evansville, on Nov. 6.

Schrock was assessed a major penalty and game misconduct for boarding under Rule #41.5 at 13:01 of the third period. He is fined under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline.

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.
