
Eizenman Earns ECHL Rookie of the Month Honors

Fresno, Calif. - The Fresno Falcons, in conjunction with the ECHL, announced today that center Oren Eizenman has been named the CCM Vector ECHL Rookie of the Month for December.
Eizenman appeared in 12 games during the month, scoring 10 goals and adding six assists for 16 points, helping lead the Falcons to a 9-3-1 record in 13 December games.
The 22-year-old enjoyed his best stretch of the month over the final four games of December. He tallied two goals and added an assist in a 6-1 win at Utah on December 19, and then notched a goal and two assists in a 4-3 shootout loss to Victoria on December 29. In the final game of the month, Eizenman recorded his third two-goal game of December, and added an assist for another three-point game, in a 5-3 win against Victoria on December 30.
Eizenman was also selected to play in the 2008 ECHL All-Star Game, which will take place on January 23 at Stockton. He becomes the first Falcons player to be honored as the ECHL Rookie of the Month since the team joined the league for the 2003-04 season.
Fresno and Las Vegas play the second game of their three-game series on Saturday, with face-off set for 7:05 p.m. Catch all of the action on 790 ESPN Radio, The Deuce, starting with the Port of Subs Pre-Game Show at 6:45.
The Falcons return to home ice on Friday, January 11, hosting the Phoenix RoadRunners at 7:30 p.m. The first 3,000 fans in attendance receive a Falcons' t-shirt, courtesy of Visalia Ceramic and Tile and 104.1 FM.
