- Augusta won 3-2 on Friday to lead the season series 4-3-1 and is 28-25-3 all-time against Columbia.
- Columbia is 9-1-1 when leading after the second period.
- Ken Scuderi, Louis Goulet and Igor Pohanka each scored a goal for the Lynx on Friday against Columbia.
- Steve McJannet and Liam Huculak each scored a goal for the Inferno on Friday against Augusta.



Idaho Steelheads (16-11-7) at Bakersfield Condors (8-17-6) 12:00 PT
- Idaho won 2-1 in a shootout at Bakersfield on Friday to lead the season series 1-0-0.
- Tim Konsorada leads Bakersfield with 18 goals and 30 points.
- Bill Kinkel scored a goal for the Steelheads on Friday against Bakersfield.
- Steven Later scored a goal for the Condors on Friday against Idaho.



Johnstown Chiefs (12-18-1) at Wheeling Nailers (9-20-4) 4:00 ET
- Johnstown won 3-2 in overtime at Wheeling on Friday to lead the season series 5-2-0.
- Wheeling ranks eighth in the ECHL on the power play at home with 20.5 percent (23-for-112).
- Randy Rowe scored the game-winning goal and had an assist for the Chiefs on Friday.
- Chris Snavely and Kevin Croxton each had a goal for the Nailers on Friday against Johnstown.



Elmira Jackals (24-7-3) at Dayton Bombers (14-9-7) 7:00 ET
- Elmira won 6-3 at Dayton on Friday to lead the series 3-0-0 against the Bombers.
- Dayton has 20 points (8-4-4) at home this season.
- Pierre-Luc Faubert and Benoit Doucet each had a goal and two assists for the Jackals on Friday against Dayton.
- Grant Goeckner-Zoeller and Greg Labenski each had two assists for the Bombers on Friday against Elmira.



South Carolina Stingrays (19-10-1) at Florida Everblades (18-11-3) 7:30 ET
- Florida won 6-3 on Friday against South Carolina to lead the season series 2-0-0.
- South Carolina ranks fifth in the ECHL with 21 points (10-5-1) on the road this season.
- Derek Damon had a goal and three assists for the Everblades on Friday against South Carolina.
- Travis Morin had two assists for the Stingrays on Friday against Florida.



Reading Royals (18-11-3) at Cincinnati Cyclones (24-6-3) 7:30 ET
- Reading won 4-3 in a shootout at Cincinnati on Friday to improve to 1-2-0 this season against the Cyclones.
- Cincinnati is 6-2-1 when tied after the first period.
- Brock Hooton had two assists for the Royals on Friday against Cincinnati.
- Travis Fuller had two assists for the Cyclones on Friday against Reading.



Mississippi Sea Wolves (11-19-3) at Gwinnett Gladiators (21-7-3) 7:35 ET
- Gwinnett is 3-0-0 this season against Mississippi and 6-4-2 all-time against the Sea Wolves.
- Mississippi has scored 20 goals in their last five games.
- Lou Dickenson has three goals and an assist in three games for the Gladiators against Mississippi.
- Lance Monych leads the Sea Wolves with three goals and four points against Gwinnett.



Trenton Devils (13-17-2) at Pensacola Ice Pilots (7-21-4) 7:05 CT
- Trenton won 3-1 at Pensacola on Wednesday to lead the series 1-0-0.

- Eric Castonguay leads the Devils against Pensacola with two assists and two points.
- Erik Fabian scored a goal for the Ice Pilots on Wednesday against Trenton.



Charlotte Checkers (13-12-4) at Texas Wildcatters (25-2-5) 7:05 CT
- Texas won 4-2 on Friday to lead season series 3-0-0 against Charlotte and 7-3-3 all-time against the Checkers.
- Charlotte ranks second in the ECHL on the penalty kill on the road with 87.2 percent (68-for-78).

Utah Grizzlies (14-14-3) at Victoria Salmon Kings (21-8-2) 7:00 PT
- Victoria is 3-1-0 this season against Utah and 12-9-0 all-time against the Grizzlies.
- Utah ranks fifth in the ECHL on the power play on the road with 20.7 percent (19-for-92).
- Salmon Kings' Julien Ellis is 3-1-0 with a 2.25 goals-against average against Utah.
- Keith Johnson and Jason Pitton each have two goals for the Grizzlies against Victoria.



Fresno Falcons (16-9-4) at Las Vegas Wranglers (22-5-5) 7:05 PT
- Fresno won 5-4 in overtime at Las Vegas on Friday to improve to 1-0-1 this season against the Wranglers.
- Las Vegas is 9-3-5 in one-goal games.
- Falcons' Oren Eizenman has 12 points in his last five games including four three-point games.
- Aki Seitsonen had two assists for the Wranglers on Friday against Fresno.



Phoenix RoadRunners (11-15-6) at Alaska Aces (18-10-3) 7:15 AT
- Alaska won 4-3 in overtime against Phoenix on Friday to lead the season series 1-0-0.
- Phoenix is 7-0-3 when leading after the second period.
- Olivier Filion had a goal and two assists for the Aces on Friday against Phoenix.
- Scott Kelman and Gino Guyer each had a goal and two assists for the RoadRunners on Friday against Alaska

- Celebrating its 20th Anniversary in 2007-08, the ECHL is the third-longest tenured professional hockey league behind only the National Hockey League and the American Hockey League.

- ECHL began in 1988-89 with five teams in four states and has grown to be a coast-to-coast league with 25 teams playing 900 games in 17 states and British Columbia in 2007-08.

- The league officially changed its name to ECHL on May 19, 2003.

- Affiliations with 26 of the 30 teams in the National Hockey League, marking the 11th consecutive season that the league has had affiliations with at least 20 teams in the NHL.

- 341 former ECHL players have played in NHL.

Dave McKee played for Augusta and dressed for five games as the backup goaltender for Stanley Cup champion Anaheim.

- Record 51 former ECHL players played their first NHL game in 2005-06.

- ECHL has been represented on last seven Stanley Cup champions.

- There are 15 coaches in the NHL who have ECHL experience including former Wheeling coach Peter Laviolette, who is head coach of the Carolina Hurricanes, and former Mississippi coach Bruce Boudreau, who is head coach of the Washington Capitals.

- ECHL has been represented on last 18 Calder Cup champions.

- ECHL has affiliations with 26 of the 29 teams in the American Hockey League and for the past 18 years there has been an ECHL player on the Calder Cup Champion.

- The Stockton Thunder and the City of Stockton will host the Chase Chevrolet ECHL All-Star Game presented by Jackson Rancheria and Bud Light at Stockton Arena on Jan. 23, 2008 and the Chase Chevrolet ECHL All-Star Skills Competition presented by Jackson Rancheria and Bud Light on Jan. 22, 2008.

- In the last five seasons the ECHL has had more call-ups to the AHL than all other professional leagues combined with over 2,000 call-ups involving more than 1,000 players since 2002-03.
ECHL and its member teams contributed nearly $3 million for charity and relief funds in 2006-07.
