Charlotte Checkers (18-18-4) at Dayton Bombers (19-16-7) 7:00 ET
- Charlotte won 4-1 at Dayton on Jan. 29 and is 1-0-0 in season series and 10-5-1 all-time against the Bombers.
- Dayton is tied for third in the ECHL on the power play with 20.9 percent (50-for-239).
- Checkers' Chris Holt is 1-0-0 with a 1.00 goals-against average in one game against Dayton.
- Alex Greig scored a goal for the Bombers against Charlotte on Jan. 29.



Johnstown Chiefs (17-22-2) at Reading Royals (24-16-3) 7:05 ET
- Reading is 4-1-0 this season against Johnstown and is 29-23-5 all-time against the Chiefs.
- Johnstown was 83.6 percent (51-for-61) on the penalty kill in January.
- P.J. Atherton leads the Royals against Johnstown with five assists and nine points.
- Jean Desrochers leads the Chiefs against Reading with four goals and seven points.



Gwinnett Gladiators (25-12-4) at South Carolina Stingrays (27-14-2) 7:05 ET
- South Carolina won 4-3 against Gwinnett on Jan. 18 and is 2-2-0 this season against the Gladiators.
- Gwinnett is tied for sixth in the ECHL with 3.44 goals per game.
- All-Star Travis Morin leads the Stingrays against Gwinnett with five assists and seven points.
- Gladiators' Dan Turple is 1-0-1 with a 1.44 goals-against average in two games against South Carolina.



Elmira Jackals (28-10-3) at Trenton Devils (17-22-4) 7:30 ET
- Trenton won 5-2 against Elmira on Jan. 25 and is 1-3-2 against the Jackals.
- Elmira is 7-3-0 in their last 10 games and is 14-4-2 in their last 20 games.
- All-Star Ryan Gunderson leads the Devils against Elmira with seven assists and seven points.
- Pierre-Luc Faubert and Brett Pilkington lead the Jackals against Trenton with six assists and eight points each.



Pensacola Ice Pilots (8-30-4) at Augusta Lynx (23-18-3) 7:35 ET
- Augusta is 1-0-0 this season against Pensacola and 19-20-2 all-time against the Ice Pilots.
- Pensacola is 3-0-0 when leading after the second period.
- Lynx rookie Matt Auffrey is tied for second on the team with 15 goals and is third with 31 points.
- Ice Pilots' Bryan Esner has four points (3g-1a) in his last two games.



Cincinnati Cyclones (29-8-3) at Wheeling Nailers (14-24-5) 7:35 ET

- All-Star John McNabb leads the Wildcatters against Florida with eight assists and 10 points.
- All-Star Mathieu Melanson leads the Everblades against Texas with four goals and six points.



Alaska Aces (20-16-5) at Utah Grizzlies (21-19-4) 7:05 MT
- Utah is 3-1-0 this season against Alaska and 9-15-1 all-time against the Aces.
- Josh Soares led Alaska in January with six goals, 10 assists and 16 points.
- Tyler Haskins had two goals and two assists for the Grizzlies on Thursday against Alaska.
- Bo Cheesman, Kimbi Daniels and Corbin Schmidt each scored a goal for the Aces on Thursday against Utah.



Idaho Steelheads (24-13-7) at Phoenix RoadRunners (15-23-6) 7:11 MT
- Phoenix won 3-1 against Idaho on Jan. 2 to improve to 1-4-1 this season against the Steelheads.
- Idaho is on a three-game winning streak and is 12-3-0 in their last 15 games.
- RoadRunners' Dave McKee is 1-1-1 with a 1.95 goals-against average in three games against Idaho.
- Steelheads' Marty Flichel is on a four-game point streak (3g-4a).



Fresno Falcons (24-11-5) at Las Vegas Wranglers (28-8-7) 7:05 PT
- Fresno is 3-0-1 this season against Las Vegas and is 17-17-4 all-time against the Wranglers.
- Las Vegas is on a four-game winning streak and is 6-3-1 in their last 10 games.
- All-Star Oren Eizenman leads the Falcons against Las Vegas with three goals and seven points.
- Jason Jozsa leads the Wranglers against Fresno with four assists and five points.

- Celebrating its 20th Anniversary in 2007-08, the ECHL is the third-longest tenured professional hockey league behind only the National Hockey League and the American Hockey League.

- ECHL began in 1988-89 with five teams in four states and has grown to be a coast-to-coast league with 25 teams playing 900 games in 17 states and British Columbia in 2007-08.

- The league officially changed its name to ECHL on May 19, 2003.

- Affiliations with 26 of the 30 teams in the National Hockey League, marking the 11th consecutive season that the league has had affiliations with at least 20 teams in the NHL.

- 345 former ECHL players have played in NHL.

- Record 51 former ECHL players played their first NHL game in 2005-06.

- ECHL has been represented on last seven Stanley Cup champions.

- There are 15 coaches in the NHL who have ECHL experience including former Wheeling coach Peter Laviolette, who is head coach of the Carolina Hurricanes, and former Mississippi coach Bruce Boudreau, who is head coach of the Washington Capitals.

- ECHL has been represented on last 18 Calder Cup champions.

- ECHL has affiliations with 26 of the 29 teams in the American Hockey League and for the past 18 years there has been an ECHL player on the Calder Cup Champion.

- In the last five seasons the ECHL has had more call-ups to the AHL than all other professional leagues combined with over 2,000 call-ups involving more than 1,000 players since 2002-03.
ECHL and its member teams contributed nearly $3 million for charity and relief funds in 2006-07.
