Dylan Guenther Assigned to Seattle Thunderbirds

KENT - The Seattle Thunderbirds have added forward Dylan Guenther to the active roster.

"This is a very exciting day for the Seattle Thunderbirds organization," said General Manager, Bil La Forge. "Dylan is one of the top players in all of junior hockey and we welcome his experience at the NHL level in helping us compete for a Championship."

Guenther was drafted in the first round, ninth overall, of the 2021 NHL Draft by the Arizona Coyotes. Seattle acquired Guenther's WHL playing rights on January 10 in exchange for a 4th round pick in 2024 and the following picks conditional on Guenther being returned to the WHL this season: 1st round pick in 2026, 2nd round pick in 2023, 4th round pick in 2025, 4th round pick in 2026, 5th round pick in 2026 and a 6th round pick in 2024.

The Thunderbirds take on the Spokane Chiefs tonight at the accesso ShoWare Center. Puck drops at 5:05pm.
