
Saskatoon Slips Past ICE
February 5, 2023 - Western Hockey League (WHL) - Winnipeg Ice News Release
The Winnipeg ICE saw their four-game winning streak come to an end Saturday night in Saskatoon dropping a 3-2 decision to the Blades.
Connor McClennon had both goals for Winnipeg, his team leading 29th and 30th of the season.
Brandon Lisowsky, Egor Sidorov and Jake Chiasson scored for the Blades, who were outshot 36-24. Sidorov led all players in the game with seven shots on goal. McClennon had six for the visitors.
Ethan Chadwick earned the victory in goal while Daniel Hauser suffered the loss.
Saskatoon went 2/2 on the power play while Winnipeg was 1/2.
The ICE return home to host the Calgary Hitmen Wednesday and Thursday, both games start at 7:00 at the ICE Cave inside Wayne Fleming Arena.
