Syracuse Chiefs (41-62) vs. Durham Bulls (59-43)
RHP Brady Dragmire (1-5, 7.75) vs. RHP Jake Faria (0-1, 7.56/ ML-Rehab)
After finishing off a three-game sweep with a 6-3 win on Thursday night, the Bulls continue their homestand against the Syracuse Chiefs with the first of three games Friday night at 7:05 p.m. The Bulls send Jake Faria to the mound for his third MLB rehab start (fourth app.) since joining the club on July 12. Durham dropped two of three at Syracuse from July 16 to 18 and look to even the season series against Brady Dragmire and the Chiefs. Tonight's game will be followed by postgame fireworks.
The Bulls currently hold a 3.5-game lead over the Norfolk Tides (56-47) in the South Division. The Chiefs are 41-62 and sit 21.5 games back of Lehigh Valley (62-40), and have dropped three in a row entering tonight's game.
