Domingue Reassigned to Portland

Atlanta Gladiators News Release


The Phoenix Coyotes reassigned goaltender Louis Domingue from the Gwinnett Gladiators to the Portland Pirates of the American Hockey League on Saturday.

Domingue, 20, appeared in 26 games for the Gladiators so far this season, posting a 16-8-2 record with a 2.94 GAA and a .894 save percentage. The rookie out of Mont St. Hilaire, PQ had split his previous four seasons in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League between Moncton and Quebec.

Domingue was a drafted in the fifth round pick (#138 overall) by the Coyotes in the 2010 NHL Draft.

The Gladiators are the ECHL Affiliate of the Phoenix Coyotes of the National Hockey League and are members of the ECHL, the Premier "AA" Hockey League and play all home games at the 11,355-seat Arena at Gwinnett Center, located just off I-85 on Sugarloaf Parkway in Duluth.
