Ben Blood Reassigned to Binghamton

ELMIRA, N.Y. - February 16, 2013 - The Elmira Jackals announced today that defenseman Ben Blood has been reassigned by the National Hockey League's Ottawa Senators to the American Hockey League's Binghamton Senators. Additionally, the Jackals have activated defenseman Benjamin Dieude-Fauvel from reserve.

Blood has appeared in Elmira's last four games after being reassigned to the club on February 8. He was held without a point and played to a +3 rating. For the season Blood has one goal and a +7 rating in 29 games with Elmira. The 23 year old rookie has also logged 13 games with the B-Sens.

Dieude-Fauvel is expected to be in the lineup tonight when the Jackals visit the Reading Royals. The ninth-year pro out of Bordeaux, France has seven points (1G, 6A) and a +3 rating in 29 games with the Jackals.
