Dollar Dog Night At The Amerks Game Saturday
February 3, 2009 - American Hockey League (AHL)
Rochester Americans News Release
(Rochester, NY)... The Rochester Americans announced today the introduction of $1.00 hot dogs to all fans. Any fan wanting a hot dog at the Saturday, February 7th home game can purchase them for just $1.00 each.
The offer is valid from when the gates open until the start of the second period. There is a limit of six hot dogs per order, but if you don't fill up on the first trip, head back to the concession stand for more. All hot dogs are Rochester's infamous Zweigle's brand hot dogs.
"We are excited to be working with Zweigle's and Savor to bring our fans special deals to make coming to a hockey game more affordable for the family," said Amerks President Lewis Staats. "Dollar hot dogs and watching the Amerks take on the Binghamton Senators is a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon."
Fans can enter the arena to grab their hot dogs starting at 1:00 p.m. as the gates open for the 2:05 p.m. afternoon matchup. The Amerks will be taking on the Binghamton Senators in their fourth bout of the season. The game will be carried live on SportsRadio 1280 WHTK, whtk.com and AHL Live.
