AHL announces suspension

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. ... The American Hockey League today announced that Syracuse Crunch left wing Steve Kelly has been suspended for one (1) game as a result of his actions in a game vs. Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on Jan. 31.

Kelly received a match penalty for slashing under AHL Rule 61.4.

Kelly will miss Syracuse's game Wednesday (Feb. 4) at Hamilton.
