Mankato MoonDogs News Release
The MoonDogs would look to end the last road trip before the All-Star break on a high note with a win over the Loggers.
Loggers would strike first and often with the MoonDogs giving up runs in the first three innings and falling behind by nine.
MoonDogs would clean things up at that point keeping the Loggers off the board for the rest of the game getting strong innings from Breck Bradshaw and Kobe Lovell.
MoonDogs would get some life in the eighth inning with Kai Roberts getting home after a hit by pitch got him on board and a single from Brendan Hord pushed him around. The ninth inning would get see the MoonDogs put up one last fight to get into the game when Ty Rumsey hammered one deep for a two-run home run.
The MoonDogs would fall 9-3 to the Loggers with two more games to play before the All-Star break. The MoonDogs and Loggers will face off again tomorrow at ISG Field with a first itch at 6:35 P.M.
