
Rockford Rivets Beat the Growlers in Extra Innings, Claiming Game 1 of the Series

Rockford, IL - The Rockford Rivets delivered an electrifying performance on the field, triumphing over the Growlers in extra innings to secure a thrilling victory in Game 1 of the series. The game showcased intense action, powerful hitting, and stellar pitching performances from both teams.
The Rivets started the game with fervor, gaining an early advantage, leading 2-0 heading into the 5th inning. Home runs by Nick Demarco, Conner Allen, and a triple by Bradley White contributed to the Rivets' offensive firepower.
However, the Growlers responded with a grand slam by Anthony Stephan, bringing in Gavin Lewis Jr., Jeter Ybarra, and Henry Godbout, giving them the lead.
Jake Hartman Jr. was called in to relieve the starter for the Rivets, and he delivered a spectacular performance, pitching 1 inning and securing three stellar strikeouts.
The Rivets kept fighting and managed to tie the game in the 8th inning, with Conner Allen making a significant impact by bringing in Brendan Summerhill for another run.
As the game went into the 10th inning, the excitement continued to build. Nick Demarco came through for the Rivets, bringing in TJ Williams for the game-winning run.
In the bottom of the 10th, the electric Beau Coffman showcased his pitching prowess, striking out two batters and forcing a crucial fly ball, securing the victory for the Rockford Rivets.
The Rivets will take on Kalamazoo tomorrow at Homer Stryker Field at 6:35 PM ET, and fans can expect another exciting matchup.
