Dingman Reassigned To Falcons

TAMPA BAY - The 2004 Stanley Cup Champion Tampa Bay Lightning have re-assigned left wing Chris Dingman to Springfield of the American Hockey League today, it was announced by Executive Vice President & General Manager Jay Feaster.

Dingman, 29, appeared in 15 games with the Lightning this season recording eight penalty minutes. A native of Edmonton, Alberta, he has skated in 154 games with Tampa Bay during the past four seasons and scored three goals and 13 points. He skated in 23 games during the 2004 Stanley Cup playoffs, scoring one goal and adding one assist.

The 6-foot-4, 235-pound winger was acquired from Carolina with Shane Willis in exchange for Kevin Weekes on March 5, 2002.

The Falcons return to action on Friday, December 30 when they host the Manchester Monarchs at the MassMutual Center starting at 7:35 PM. Springfield will conclude 2005 on Saturday when they head to Portland to battle the Pirates starting at 5:35 PM. All games can be heard live on the Falcons Hockey Network, WMAS AM 1450, as "The Voice" of the Falcons John Michael handles the play-by-play duties. All games can also be seen live through the B-2 Network for only $6.00.
