Berkhoel Returns to Wolves

The Atlanta Thrashers have reassigned goaltender ADAM BERKHOEL (BUHRK-uhl) from the ECHL's Gwinnett Gladiators to the Chicago Wolves.

BERKHOEL has posted a 2-1-0 record with a 2.69 goals-against average and a.912 save percentage in three appearances with the Gladiators this year.

The 24-year-old netminder has also registered a 2-4-0 mark with a 4.08 goals-against average and a .876 save percentage in eight appearances spanning four stints with the Thrashers this season. BERKHOEL, who made his National Hockey League debut this year, collected 32 saves on 35 shots to record his first NHL win on Oct. 22 against the New Jersey Devils.

The St. Paul, Minn., native has recorded a 1-2-0 mark with a 3.02 goals-against average and a .922 save percentage in three games with the Wolves this year.
