
Canucks Assign Goren to Moose

The Vancouver Canucks, the NHL affiliate of the Manitoba Moose, announced forward Lee Goren has been assigned to the Moose.
Goren, 27, has played in 28 games with the Canucks this season, scoring one goal and two assists for three points and 30 penalty minutes. In his career, the Winnipeg, MB native has now appeared in 65 NHL games, scoring five goals and four assists for nine points and 44 penalty minutes with Boston, Florida, and Vancouver.
Last season, Goren led the Moose in goal-scoring with 32 goals in 79 games. He added 30 assists for 62 points to finish second in team-scoring. He also collected 117 penalty minutes. In his AHL career, Goren has played in 334 games, scoring 117 goals and 133 assists for 250 points and 488 penalty minutes with Providence, San Antonio, and the Moose. His best season came in 2002-03 with Providence when he scored 32 goals and 37 assists for 69 points in 65 games with the Bruins.
Goren was originally drafted by the Boston Bruins in the third round, 63rd overall, in the 1997 NHL Entry Draft.
