Harrisburg Senators News Release
The Harrisburg Senators announced today that outfielder Frank Diaz has left the team and returned home to Venezuela. Diaz will take time off due to a death in the family.
With Diaz going to the Temporarily Inactive list, the Nationals will move Tim Raines, Jr. back to the Senators. Raines played in 58 games with the Senators earlier this season and had a .297 average with 6 home runs and 22 RBI's.
Raines comes back to Harrisburg from Triple-A New Orleans where he appeared in 26 games and hit .227 with 1 home run and 5 RBI's.
The Senators roster stands at 24 active players.
