
Brian Wolfe activated from disabled list

New Hampshire Fisher Cats News Release
Manchester, NH- Right-handed reliever Brian Wolfe was activated from the disabled list today. He had been inactive since July 5. His activation puts the Fisher Cats active roster at 23 players, one short of the Eastern League limit.
Prior to landing on the disabled list, the 25-year-old Wolfe made 22 appearances (two starts) for the Fisher Cats, going 0-3 with a 6.18 ERA. He began the season with Class High-A Dunedin, where he went 1-4 with a 6.00 ERA in five starts before getting promoted to New Hampshire. He was acquired by the Toronto Blue Jays organization during this past offseason via trade from the Milwaukee Brewers in exchange for Corey Koskie. He was originally selected by the Minnesota Twins in the sixth round of the 1999 draft.
