Dhillion Academic Player of the Month

Niagara IceDogs goaltender, 17 year-old Stephen Dhillon, is being recognized as the OHL's Central Division Academic Player of the Month for the month of December.

Dhillon has been working hard both on and off the ice, as the Buffalo, NY native is sporting an astonishing 97% average in Grade 12 University level classes at Governor Simcoe Secondary School. Dhillon was also awarded the 2015 Ivan Tennant Memorial Award as the top academic high school student as recognized by the OHL. Following his high school graduation, the young goaltender is planning to take his talents to University in order to study Medical Sciences.

In 19 games this season, Dhillon has a record of 8-5-2-2 with a 2.88 GAA and 0.903 SV%.

The IceDogs organization is extremely proud of Dhillon and would like to wish him continued success on and off the ice!
