Devils Return Leach to Lowell

LOWELL, Mass. - The Lowell Devils announced that defenseman Jay Leach has been returned on loan by the New Jersey Devils (NHL).

The 29-year old native of Syracuse, NY skated in two games for New Jersey during his most recent call-up, recording his first NHL point with an assist on November 23 at Tampa Bay. Leach has posted a goal, two assists and 21 penalty minutes in 15 games this season for Lowell and is the team's leader with a +6 plus/minus rating.

An eight-year veteran, Leach has appeared in 511 AHL contests, totaling 31 goals, 76 assists and 813 penalty minutes.

Lowell travels to battle the Portland Pirates on Saturday, November 29 at 7:00 p.m. and the Worcester Sharks on Sunday, November 30 at 4:05 p.m. The Devils return home to take on the Springfield Falcons on Wednesday, December 3 at 7:00 p.m. Listen to all of the action live on 980AM-WCAP and ahllive.com as Ryan Johnston brings you all of the play-by-play.
