Marlies Present Wendel Clark Mini-Jersey Banner Day on Sunday

A proud member of the American Hockey League, the Toronto Marlies will hold Wendel Clark mini-jersey banner day on Sunday, November 30, when they host the Rochester Americans - AHL affiliate of the Florida Panthers - in a 4:00 p.m. contest at Ricoh Coliseum. The first 2,500 fans in attendance will receive a Wendel Clark miniature jersey banner. Prior to puck-drop, Clark will be signing autographs for fans attending the game.

Wendel Clark is one of the most beloved players in Toronto Maple Leafs history. On November 2, 2000, the former captain was named community representative for the organization. The native of Kelvington, Saskatchewan, ranks among the Leafs all-time leaders in points (15th, 441), goals (eighth, 260), penalty minutes (third, 1535), playoff points (fourth, 61) and playoff goals (first, 34). Clark was the captain of the Maple Leafs from 1991-1994.

The Marlies play the Crunch - AHL affiliate of the Columbus Blue Jackets - tonight at 7:30 p.m. in Syracuse at the Oncenter. Toronto travels to Cleveland, OH tomorrow night to take on the Lake Erie Monsters - AHL affiliate of the Colorado Avalanche - for a 7:30 p.m. contest at Quicken Loans Arena.
