READING, Pennsylvania - Goaltender Cedrick Desjardins stopped 30 shots and turned in his fifth career shutout and Scott Reynolds netted a pair of goals as the Cincinnati Cyclones knocked off the Reading Royals, 3-0, on Saturday night.

Followiing a scoreless first period, Scott Reynolds gave Cincinnati the lead at 6:10 of the middle frame. Reynolds took a pass from Andrew Martin, who intercepted a clearing attempt by Reading goaltender Jon Quick and quickly centered the pass to the second-year player.

Reynolds netted his second of the night on a five-on-three power play 1:38 into the third period, with Thomas Beauregard and Gerard Miller adding the helpers. The game was salted away at the 5:51 mark when rookie Travis Fuller netted his fourth of the season from David Desharnais and Jean-Michel Daoust.

Desjardins collected his first shutout since Jan.5, ironically, also at the expense of the Royals in the win. Desjardins also had another shutout exactly one year to day (Nov. 3, 2006), stopping 27 shots in a 3-0 blanking of Dayton. The win spoiled Reading home opener, as 7090 fans went away disappointed.

The final game of the four game road trip comes up on Sunday afternoon with a 5pm showdown with Dayton at the Nutter Center.
