Cincinnati Cyclones News Release
CINCINNATI, Ohio - The Cincinnati Cyclones of the ECHL, affiliate of the Montreal Canadiens of the National Hockey League and Hamilton Bulldogs of the American Hockey League, announced this afternoon several plans for their 'Throwback Night' against the Augusta Lynx next Saturday night (Nov. 10).
'Throwback Night' will feature the Cyclones playing their game in the old style WHA Cincinnati Stingers yellow jerseys from the 1970s. Fans will look forward to having selected concession items discounted to the 1970s era, as well as discounted items at the souvenir stand.
Beginning on Monday (Nov. 5), tickets for the game will also be discounted to the Stingers era, as nearly all seats will be priced at six dollars ($6) each. Following the game, the Stingers jerseys worn by the players will be auctioned off.
"The Cincinnati Cyclones believe in being fun for the entire family," U.S. Bank Arena Vice President Kristin Ropp said. "With discounted tickets being made available, it should be even more attractive as an option for everyone Saturday night."
The Cyclones, 3-2 on the season, continue their four game road trip tonight with a 7:05pm game at Reading (WFTK-FM SuperTalk 96.5). Prior to Saturday's game, the Cyclones host Wheeling Wednesday night (Nov. 7) and Augusta Thursday (Nov. 8) at U.S. Bank Arena. Both of those games will feature one dollar beers for certain brands.
