
Wranglers tame Grizzlies 5-1

Las Vegas, NV - The Las Vegas Wranglers® defeated the Utah Grizzlies 5-1 on Saturday night in front of a season-high 5,804 fans at the Orleans Arena. Rookie Curtis Fraser made his debut with three assists in the victory. Goalie Tim Boron made his first start in net for Las Vegas, stopping 24 of 25 Utah shots. Forwards Brandon Kaleniecki, Adam Cracknell, Tyler Mosienko and defenseman Jaosn Krischuk each scored in the Las Vegas victory. Captain Peter Ferraro dished out two assists as Las Vegas improved to 5-2-0 on the season. The Wranglers will play in Phoenix on Saturday at 6:11 pm (PST).
The Wranglers netted a pair of goals in the opening period with forward Ryan Donally scoring his first goal of the night at 12:52. Las Vegas pushed the lead to 2-0 as Adam Cracknell set up Brandon Kaleniecki's power-play tally at 13:24.
Las Vegas tallied another pair of goals in the second period to push the lead to 4-0. The third Wranglers goal of the night was set up by Marco Peluso, who found Tyler Mosienko in front of the Utah net for the score. With 1:42 left in the middle period, defenseman Jason Krischuk scored his first goal of the season on the power play, giving Las Vegas a four-goal lead.
Utah spoiled Tim Boron's bid for a shutout just 1:49 into the third period. Defenseman Andy Sertich snapped a shot through traffic, bringing the Grizzlies within three goals at 4-1. With just under four minutes remaining in the contest, Adam Cracknell snapped in his fifth goal of the season for the 5-1 lead. Cracknell extended his scoring streak to four straight games with at least a goal and an assist.
The Wranglers will now embark on a five-game road trip before returning home to host the Phoenix RoadRunners on Tuesday, November 20th at 7:05 pm. Las Vegas will play in Phoenix on Saturday, November 10th at 7:05 pm.

The Wranglers play all 36 home games at the Orleans Arena, located at the Orleans Hotel and Casino at 4500 W. Tropicana Avenue. Las Vegas will host Opening Night on Sunday, October 21st at 7:05 pm at the Orleans Arena.
