Former RoadRunners Tordjman Named Rbk X-Pulse/AHL Goaltender Of The Month

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - The American Hockey League announced that Josh Tordjman, who played for the Phoenix RoadRunners as a rookie, has been named the Rbk X-Pulse/AHL Goaltender of the Month for October.

Tordjman was 5-0-0 with a goals-against average of 1.94 and a save percentage of .937 and is the first goaltender in Rampage history to win five consecutive decisions.

Signed as a free agent by the Phoenix Coyotes on July 2, 2006, the 22 year old was 4-4-0 with a goals-against average of 3.12 and a save percentage of .900 in nine games with the RoadRunners in 2006-07 while also playing for San Antonio where he was 15-18-2 with a shutout, a goals-against average of 2.58 and a save percentage of .920 in 37 games.

Other nominees for the Rbk X-Pulse/AHL Goaltender of the Month were Drew MacIntyre, who played for Toledo and now plays for Manitoba; Ryan Munce, who played for Bakersfield, Johnstown and Reading and now plays for Norfolk; Mike McKenna, who played for Las Vegas and now plays for Portland; Wade Flaherty, who played for Greensboro and now plays for Rockford; Jeff Deslauriers, who played for Greenville and now plays for Springfield; and Thomas Greiss, who played for Fresno and now plays for Worcester.
