
Dallas Stars Return Center Travis Morin to Texas Stars

CEDAR PARK, Texas - The Texas Stars, proud American Hockey League affiliate of the Dallas Stars, announced today that Dallas has returned center Travis Morin on loan to Texas.
Morin, 30, is in his sixth season with the Stars organization and his ninth in professional hockey. In four games with Dallas this season, he has posted one assist and a +2 plus/minus rating. He leads the AHL with 74 points (29 goals, 45 assists) in 55 games for the Texas Stars this season.
The 6-foot-1, 190-pound native of Brooklyn Park, Minnesota was originally selected by Washington in the ninth round (263rd overall) of the 2004 NHL Draft. He was signed by Dallas as a free agent on July 2, 2010.
The Dallas Stars are in action tonight as they square off with the Winnipeg Jets at 7:00 p.m. at MTS Centre.
The Texas Stars will complete their current three-game road trip on Wednesday, March 19th at 7:05 p.m. with their sixth, and final, regular season meeting with the Iowa Wild at Wells Fargo Arena. The Stars will return to Cedar Park Center on Friday, March 21st as they host the Oklahoma City Barons at 7:30 p.m. Friday's game kicks off Military Appreciation Weekend presented by Round Rock Auto Group and $3 Beer & $4 Robert Mondavi Private Selection Wine Night.
