Jets Recall Patrice Cormier from IceCaps

The Winnipeg Jets today announced they have recalled forward Patrice Cormier from the St. John's IceCaps of the American Hockey League.

Cormier, 23, has played in 54 games with the IceCaps this season. In that time, the left-handed centre has collected 21 points (6G, 15A) and 89 penalty minutes. He appeared in 10 games with the Winnipeg Jets last season for seven penalty minutes.

The Moncton, NB native has played in 40 career NHL games between Atlanta and Winnipeg for two career points (1G, 1A) and seven career penalty minutes. He was originally drafted by the New Jersey Devils in the second round, 54th overall, in the 2008 NHL Draft.
