
Cyclones Loan Kyle Rank To Portland

ELMIRA, New York - The Cincinnati Cyclones have loaned forward Kyle Rank and to Portland of the AHL The Cyclones are the ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Montreal Canadiens and Nashville Predators.
Rank, 25, played in 16 games for the Cyclones this season, collecting 13 points on three goals and ten assists. Kyle played 25 games in the AHL last season with Wilkes-Barre. He spent the rest of the campaign in 2007-08 with Wheeling (ECHL), netting ten goals and 23 assists for 33 points in 34 games.
The loan of Rank marks the sixth different player the Cyclones to have been loaned or recalled by an American Hockey League team.
Cincinnati (6-7-3) is fifth in the North Division of the American Conference. The Cyclones play at Elmira tonight {7:35pm-on MAX-FM (97.7 and 99.5) and at www.cycloneshockey.com}. Cincinnati opens a three-game road trip tonight with a trip to Johnstown tomorrow night (7pm) and at Trenton on Sunday (4pm). Both of these games will also be carried on MAX-FM (97.7 and 99.5).
