Flames Recall Baldwin to Quad City

Las Vegas, NV - The Las Vegas Wranglers announced today that defenseman Gord Baldwin has been recalled to the American Hockey League's Quad City Flames.

Baldwin began his second pro season with Las Vegas and recorded one assist and 23 penalty minutes in three games with the Wranglers this year. The defenseman split his rookie season in 2007-08 between Quad City and Las Vegas. In 37 games with the Flames in 2007-08, Baldwin dished out five assists. He played in 12 games with Las Vegas as a rookie, picking up one assist. The 21-year old was drafted by the Calgary Flames in the third round (#69 overall) of the 2005 NHL Entry Draft.

Las Vegas will play in Phoenix on Saturday at 6:05 PM (PST). Las Vegas will return home to host Fresno on Monday, December 1st and Tuesday, December 2nd at 7:30 PM at the Orleans Arena. The Wranglers will host "Sing for Santa" both nights and host the Teddy Bear Toss on Tuesday night.
